A tall perennial forming a clump of lance-shaped, pointed and toothed, dark green leaves with sturdy, branching stems producing stiff panicles of violet-blue flowers from early summer into autumn.
Abelia 'Edward Goucher'
A graceful, arching, evergreen shrub bearing pale pink flowers from midsummer to autumn. Best planted in a sheltered position whether against a wall or with other shrubs that will provide shelter from cold, drying winds.
Cistus x pulverulentus 'Sunset' (3 litre pot)
Wonderful rose pink flowers in summer which despite each only lasting a day, are so plentiful, it makes for a valuable garden plant. The foliage is slightly silvery and ovate in shape. Particularly good for a sheltered position in a well-drained garden.
Callistemon citrinus 'Splendens'
An upright evergreen shrub with slender, arching branches and stiff, narrow leaves. In spring and summer it bears bright red bottlebrush-like flowers. Best grown in a sheltered position or in a container in frost-prone areas so it can be overwintered in a cool greenhouse.

Paeonia 'Red Charm'
Rather like a highly refined version of the endearing Cottage Garden Peony, this fantastic hybrid between P.lactiflora and P.officinalis has produced a sturdy plant with magnificent deep blood red double flowers. No noticable scent but a peony to make a statement with! Early flowering from the end of May which gives a marvellous opportunity to extend the peony season. Grows to around 80cm in height and rarely needs staking.
These are premium grade 3-5 eye field grown plants, of which a high proportion will flower in their first year. Smaller 2-3 eye plants frequently offered elsewhere may sometimes take several years to flower.
Azalea luteum
A deciduous Azalea with an upright habit, bearing masses of fragrant yellow flowers from late spring into early summer. Best grown in dappled shade, though will tolerate full sun if the soil is moist but well-drained.
Chaenomeles speciosa MANGO STORM ('Mincha01' PBR)
A repeat-flowering, thornless cultivar with compact habit, producing masses of bright, salmon-orange, double flowers in early spring, repeating again later in June.

Dryopteris erythrosora var. prolifica
A selected form of Dryopteris erythrosora with red-tinted glossy new fronds. This majestic fern forms a large clump growing up to 60cm in height and spread. and thrives in good light and moist soil. It is evergreen in a mild winter. Very highly recommended and easy to grow.
Hesperis matronalis var. albiflora
A very attractive and fragrant perennial which produces clusters of upright branched stems bearing masses of white flowers during late spring and early summer.

Paeonia 'Primevere'

Liquidambar styraciflua 'Slender Silhouette'
An upright, narrowly columnar tree with broad, palmate, glossy, dark green leaves turning shades of yellow and orange-red in autumn.
Origanum vulgare 'Compactum'
A bushy, woody-based perennial with aromatic green leaves producing loose sprays of tiny, pale pink flowers from summer into early autumn.
Vinca minor 'Illumination' (v)
A great ground cover perennial with trailing stems bearing bright, yellow ovate leaves margined dark green and bearing lilac-blue flowers from spring to autumn. A very versatile plant growing pretty much anywhere.
Choisya ternata SUNDANCE ('Lich')
Much like Choisya ternata but with golden yellow foliage and bearing the small, fragrant white flowers in late spring into summer and again later in the season. Prune after flowering in spring to maintain a good, dense shape and keep it to the size required.
Digitalis lutea (9cm pot)
A more reliably perennial foxglove than many, this variety has glossy, rich green leaves shooting up stout stems in early summer bearing soft yellow, tubular flowers throughout June and July. Particularly attractive to pollinating insects they look great when interspersed among ferns in a woodland setting.

A mat-forming, semi-evergreen perennial often found growing wild, with ovate leaves and small clusters of purplish-pink flowers from summer into autumn.

A clump-forming, perennial grass with arching, linear leaves and bearing cylindrical panicles of purple-tinged flowers spikes in summer.
Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Silver Queen' (f/v)
A lovely evergreen shrub with silvery-green foliage edged creamy-white and dark stems. As with many Pittosporums, it can be a little susceptible to cold weather so best planted somewhere with shelter from cold, drying winds. In late spring and early summer, it bears small, purple, lightly fragrant flowers.
Athyrium niponicum var. pictum
One of the most recognizable and popular of all ferns. Grey green and purple fronds, and a neat growth habit up to 45cm in height and spread. Best in shade, but tolerates sun if planted in moist soil. Deciduous. Note that younger plants will not develop the full patternation until they are slightly more established, and the patternation will be stronger in a little more shade than it will in a sunnier position.

An evergreen perennial usually grown as an annual with tufts of narrow, silvery-green, hairy foliage producing spherical, bright yellow flowerheads on stiff stems in summer.
Genista 'Porlock'
A semi-evergreen shrub with small leaves and bearing racemes of fragrant, bright yellow, pea-like flowers in spring.
Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola'
A clump-forming deciduous grass with narrow, arching, bright yellow leaves with green stripes, often tinged red in late autumn and early winter.
