Paeonia 'Mikunino-akebono'
This sensational and truly unique tree peony has pure milky white single flowers borne in abundance. They are deeply fimbriated at the edges, as if they have been cut by a pair of fringing scissors, each flower showing this charactaristic is variable from flower to flower. A slow-growing, evergreen shrub with small, dark green, glossy leaves and in spring bearing masses of pure white, highly fragrant flowers, followed by small black fruits.

Athyrium niponicum var. pictum

Note that younger plants will not develop the full patternation until they are slightly more established, and the patternation will be stronger in a little more shade than it will in a sunnier position.
